Hello Dear Reader
I apologize for not writing anything for so long. First we had technical problems at our house, that were further compounded by problems with our host server for the blogs; the host server was fixed and finally the technical problems were fixed at our house. In the midst of all of this we hosted the family Thanksgiving feast (we are STILL eating the leftovers), which we had to really get ready for since it was the in-laws coming over. We also had a few more babysitting calls and of course, the inevitable doctor appointments to go to.

Since I last wrote much has happened with us. We have a new roof on the house complete with new gutters and ‘leaders’, so this old place is starting to be waterproof again. We found that we will have to replace alot of our drywall and ceilings due to the leaking but getting people out to do estimates is like pulling teeth. (Also trying to figure out how to pay for all of this is really wracking our brains) Still waiting for the insurance company to let us know how much of the damage that they will cover – took them almost a month to send out the adjuster and he was from Kentucky. (All the ones from here were in Louisiana due to Hurricane Katrina)

I also have been researching on some things that tick me off that I want to blog about.  I am checking out facts before I blog because part of what ticks me off is when people write articles that they don’t research.  Nothing worse than reading something that has skewed information.

Update on Cami.  Still working on getting monies together for that – see Benevolent Support to the left if you’d like to help out – she is running on three legs most of the time.  We have been giving her prednisone and advil to help her out since the medication that the vet prescribed she turned out to be allergic to. We also try giving her massages to help her with the pain.

Well, it is later than I should be awake so I will bid you adieu and go to bed.
